Our First Experience at the Wedding Expo
This season, we got an opportunity to showcase our handcrafted embroidery and applique work collection at our very first wedding expo, Shadiyana Wedding Expo at Expo centre Lahore on 23-24 August, 2025. It was a moment of pride and purpose, where our art work met audience, and tradition found its way into modern celebrations.
it was an opportunity to present the artistry, heritage, and craftsmanship that define our brand. Each piece we displayed carried the essence of traditional hand embroidery and applique—carefully designed, thoughtfully curated, and stitched with precision by skilled artisans. These are not clothing articles but each album conveys a unique message. Our album Haryaali highlights the significance of tree plantation and preservation of environment. Message of resilience, empowerment, hope and struggle is depicted in many others.
Visitors admired the detail, the textures, and the uniqueness that only handmade articles can offer, distinguishing our pieces from mass-produced alternatives.
As a brand, this experience allowed us to learn and grow. From designing our display to engaging with visitors and sharing the stories behind each creation, the expo taught us the importance of connection—how storytelling, presentation, and authenticity work hand-in-hand with design.
Our first wedding expo was not only a successful introduction of our brand to a larger audience but also a reaffirmation of our mission: to keep traditional applique work and embroidery alive while offering modern cuts in centuries old Ajrak. We are excited to continue this journey, bringing more of our artistry to future platforms and creating clothing that embodies both heritage and legacy.
